Analog synth revivalist Invisible Conga People have joined Ribbon Music Publishing. In 2008 with the help of Italians Do It Better, I.C.P. (Eric Tsai and Justin Simon) released the “Cable Dazed” 12″ with B-Side “Weird Pains”. Sedated, subtle yet always unrelenting forward beat music.

Three years later I.C.P. released “In a Hole” b/w “Can’t Feel My Knees” another 12″ this time for DFA. The 12″ was bundled with bonus dub versions of both the A and B side. Each track expanding within a restrained melody. Flying at a low eurhythmic altitude leaving little room to maneuver nonetheless continuing to captivate with their tonal simplicity and rhythm. Christopher Owens announced today in a public letter to Lawrence Hayward of Felt the arrival of Girls forthcoming single “Lawrence”. The previously unheard track will be released both digitally and on 1000 “red heart shaped 7 inches” via True Panther Sounds [Dec 6th] and Fantasy Trashcan / Turnstile Music [Nov 28th]. It is with much excitement we announce our representation of writers Christopher Owens and Chet “JR” White of GIRLS. In particular, the Christopher Owens’ penned second album Father, Son, Holy Ghost.

Since the release of their first record Album [2009] and the subsequent EP Broken Dreams Club [2010], Girls have honed a style of songwriting and deliverance that has made them one of the most compelling artistic entities in modern music.
